Open Scrimmages Program - Fall 2022

We will be offering open, modified scrimmages for any child between the ages of 9 and 11 with instruction provided by current and former RPBL travel and rec coaches as well as volunteers.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and play as well! Scrimmages will be a mixture
of coach pitch and/or kid pitch.

Registration: A nominal, one-time registration fee of $25 is required. Registering in advance is
preferred, but not required. Registration fees are utilized to assist the league in offsetting
expenses associated with field maintenance and equipment costs.

Dates: Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning Saturday, September 17th thru November 2nd (players can attend either or both days)

Time: Wednesdays: 5:15 P.M. – (until dark) & Saturdays: 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Location: Memorial Field, 2200 Enslow Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209

  • Scrimmages are for children ages 9-11. Older players should help/encourage younger
    players.
  • Beginners and players from other leagues are welcome.
  • Any child catching must wear a protective cup. Catchers get priority treatment! We will
have some catching equipment available for use.
  • Bats and helmets will be available for use by all players.

Please address any questions to Phil Kulinski, at pkulinski@hotmail.com

For inclement weather, if possible, we will notify families in advance of cancellations via e-mail.
