OUR ORGANIZATION

Matthew Fischer

Commissioner

A lifetime resident of Baltimore, Matthew Fischer serves as the 47th Commissioner of Roland Park Baseball Leagues. He has coached with RPBL since 2004 and first joined the Board of Trustees in 2007. Since joining the Board, Matt has continued coaching while also handling equipment acquisition and serving as coordinator for the in-house Fall Ball program for several years. Matt's coaching experience includes the National, American, and Teen Leagues of RPBL, and he has enjoyed working with players of all ages. As Commissioner, Matt looks forward to continuing the legacy of RPBL while focusing on the organization's mission to provide a supportive and growth focused environment for all of our players. Off the field, Matt is the General Counsel of a real estate risk management firm in Harbor East and also is an affiliate member of Loyola Maryland's Department of Economics. He continues to play baseball when he can, softball when called, and golf when time allows.

Most importantly, Matt looks forward to welcoming all of RPBL's players each season and invites all those who visit to learn about our organization while always believing the upcoming season will be the best yet in RPBL's long and storied history.
